High Holidays 2022

At Dirah, the High Holidays is a time for all Jews to reflect, connect and recharge.

Our explanatory Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur services are designed to make everyone feel welcome and at home regardless of one's background, level of observance or familiarity with the Holidays. They blend traditional prayers and melodies with contemporary insights and meaningful commentary.

Rosh Hashanah Dinner

Ring in the New Year with friends and community and join us for a gourmet meal on the first night of Rosh Hashanah!

Enjoy apples & honey, round challah, wine and a contemporary flavorful twist on the traditional foods of Rosh Hashanah, accompanied by meaningful insights.

Shofar and Tashlich at the Canal

Shofar at the Canal is a unique micro-service on the first day of Rosh Hashanah, featuring some of the Rosh Hashanah prayer highlights and songs, the resounding notes of the Shofar, and a Tashlich waterfront meditation.

We're partnering with Gowanus Dredgers to bring the spirit of Rosh Hashanah to the public at the Gowanus Canal. Shofar at the Canal will include Tashlich - a Rosh Hashanah waterfront ritual of cleansing the past year to propel us into the New Year with a fresh mind and heart.

Join us for a bite-sized dose of Rosh Hashanah inspiration, meditation and vibration.
